Your financial donations help us to purchase the needed health and hygene supplies that our clients use every day of the year.
Each year, URS patrons consume:
- 10,000 toothbrushes, which cost 8 cents each, for a total of $800.
- 200 gallons of body soap, for a total of $3114.50.
- 365 boxes of Laundry Sopa. Boxes of soap cost $14.43 each, for a total of $5,266.95 per year;
- 4992 rolls of toilet paper, for a total of $2888.08.
- 360 boxes of facial tissue, for a total of $291.72.
We rent 12 washers and 9 dryers, which costs $1000 each month or $12,000 over the course of a year. Running those machines costs another $20,000 annually in electricity and water costs.
